Facilitating Family Team Decision-Making (FTDM) Meetings with Domestic Violence

Description: This training reviews the dynamics of battering and allows child welfare workers to learn how those dynamics may sabotage the efficacy and safety of a FTDM meeting. This course utilizes family team meeting facilitation skills to develop the family’s plan when domestic violence is involved and provides an understanding of what facilitators need to know to determine the best method to facilitate a family team meeting.

Trainers: Ashley Hopkins & Leah Vejzovic
