Testifying in Juvenile Court
Friday, June 10, 2022, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM CDT
Category: Training

More and more often, child welfare professionals are having to take the stand and be questioned in open court. Remembering everything that has happened in a case, while trying to make sure you accurately recite facts while questions are being hurled at you can feel like you’ve drifted into oncoming traffic. This training will focus on best practices for professionals testifying in court, common problems to avoid, and how to keep a good working relationship with your families while answering questions that might make them feel uncomfortable.
