Kristen Wray - Kristen is a Survivor Services Supervisor at Family Resources. She oversees the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Abuse programs in Iowa. Kristen has a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and four years of experience working directly with survivors of violent crimes. Kristen serves as an agent for social change in the contracted region of Clinton, Jackson, Louisa, Muscatine, and Scott counties in Iowa. She is an active member of the Eastern Region CAP team, Jackson County Domestic Violence/Sexual Abuse Coalition, Clinton County Domestic Violence/Sexual Abuse Coalition, Jackson County Community Partnerships of Protecting Children as well as the Scott County Community Partnerships of Protecting Children, and the Scott County Child Abuse Prevention Advisory Council Additionally, Kristen also has five years of hospital work experience.

CrisCynthia Drake - CrisCynthia is a Homicide and Other Violent Crimes Specialist at Family Resources. She has been a Specialist working directly with survivors of violent crimes in the Homicide and Other Violent Crimes Program for the last five years in the Clinton, Iowa area. She is devoted to the work she does and is driven to empower them to be their best self regardless of the circumstances. She has a Bachelor of Divinity degree and an Associate’s degree in Social Science. Dedication and hard work is CrisCynthia's moto.

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM. Training will start promptly at 9:00 AM. 

There will be a Domestic Violence Intermediate course offered March 31, 2023 from 9am-12pm. If you wish to partake in both courses, you must register for each one separately.

Please note: Priority seating is provided to staff working within one of the DHS child welfare contracts, including: Family Centered Services (FCS); QRTP/Group Foster Care; Shelter Services; Aftercare Services; Supervised Apartment Living (SAL); Recruitment, Retention, Training and Support Services (RRTS); Parent Partners; Foster Care Youth Council. If you do not work within one of the child welfare contracts with the State, you may be bumped from the course and placed on a wait list.
