Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 8:30 AM to Friday, October 12, 2018, 5:00 PM CDT
Category: Training

FTDM Meeting Facilitation training teaches participants to work with families whose children are in the child welfare system to make plans and decisions together, not separately. It draws upon a family’s strengths, experiences, knowledge, and resources to create a plan that provides for the safety and well-being of all the children in the family.

FDTM Meeting Facilitation training is a three (3) day training which focus on a mix of foundations, standards, case scenarios and role-playing.  In order to become a FTDM meeting facilitator, participants must complete all necessary requirements, which includes:  co-facilitate 1 FTDM meeting and lead 1 FTDM meeting (2 total meetings) with an approved coach.  All requirements necessary to become an approved facilitator will be covered during this three day training.

There is a seat limit of 24.

This training is specifically tailored to those wishing to become FDTM Meeting Facilitators. If you are interested in learning about FTDM Meetings, in general, to support your work in the Child Welfare System, please enroll in the FTDM Fundamentals training when scheduled.
