Professionalism, ethics, and boundaries are key competencies across all areas of social work. However, working in the area of child welfare can provide additional challenges and require a unique set of skills. This workshop provides workers a core understanding of the values and ethical principles of social work and the critical role they play in our work as child welfare workers. Learners will explore models of ethical decision making, skills for navigating professional boundaries, and communication best practices.  

Registration closes 48 hours before the training. 

Intended Audience: Family Centered Services (FCS) Staff; Qualified Residential Treatment Program Staff (QRTP), Shelter Staff (Child Welfare Emergency Services), Supervised Apartment Living Staff (SAL); Recruitment/Retention Training Support Staff (RRTS) Direct Care/Front-Line Staff and Supervisors.

The Training Room will open at 9:20AM. Training will begin promptly at 9:30AM. This training is scheduled until 12:30PM.
