Solution Focused Meetings (SFM) provide a n opportunity to partner with families engaged in the child welfare system. This training is designed for staff engaging in facilitation of Solution F ocused Meetings. Participants will gain an understanding of integrating fam ily meetings into the practice of Solution Based Casework. The training wil l provide guidance on the utilization of SFMs within the Milestones of Solu tion Focused Casework and engagement and preparation with families.< /p>

uisite* You are to have completed the 5 week SBC training within you
r organization prior to taking this SFM Training
Registration will begin at 8:30 AM. Training will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. This training is sched uled until 4:15 PM.
Masks are highly recommended. Soc ial distancing will be practiced when available.
Please note: Priority seating is provided to staff working within one of the curerent DHS child welfare service contracts, inc luding: Family Centered Services (FCS); Qualified Residential Treatment Pro gram (QRTP) / Group Foster Care; Child Welfare Emergency Services (CWES): A ftercare Services; Supervised Apartment Living (SAL); Recruitment, Retentio n, Training and Support Services (RRTS); Parent Partners; Foster Care Youth Council. If you do not work within one of the current DHS child welfare services contract, you may be bumped from the course and pla ced on a wait list.
