This training wi ll provide information pertaining to de-escalation techniques and intervent ions. Participants will learn about the brain science, escalation cycles, t he window of tolerance, and more. This information will assist participants in gaining applicable skills to support de-escalation measures in a safe a nd trauma informed way. Additionally, debriefing will be discussed and how to best resolve post-crises challenges.
Trainers:
Blake Stephenson - Blake Stephenson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a Board Certi
fied Behavior Analyst and has specialization in working with children and a
dolescents who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. Blake has
advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Applied Behav
ior Analysis (ABA), Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), and in assess
ing autism through the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

Registration will begin at 12:30pm. Training will begin promptly at 1pm. This training is scheduled until 3pm.
