Family Team Decision-Making (FTDM) Meeting Facilitation Training

Description: FTDM Meeting Facilitation training teaches participants to work with families whose children are in the child welfare system to make plans and decisions together, not separately. It draws upon a family’s strengths, experiences, knowledge, and resources to create a plan that provides for the safety and well-being of all the children in the family.

**The Zoom meeting room will open up at 8:30am, please feel free to log in at this time. Training will start promptly at 9am and end at 12pm for all three days of training.

**Please note

  • Priority seating is provided to staff working within one of the DHS child welfare contracts, including: Community Care; Group Foster Care; Family Safety, Risk, and Permanency (FSRP); Child Welfare Emergency Services (CWES): Aftercare Services; Supervised Apartment Living (SAL); Recruitment, Retention, Training and Support Services (RRTS); Parent Partners; Foster Care Youth Council. If you do not work within one of the child welfare contracts with the State, you may be bumped from the course and placed on a wait list.
  • We have a limit of 10 spots for this training, so once that capacity is reached it will not allow any more registrants in. If you would like to be put on a wait list that option is available. If you register and are UNABLE to attend, it is important that this information be passed along to Tonya Nore, Administrative Assistant of the Training Academy at [email protected]
