Danger Vs. Risk Description: Participants will understand the overview of the Structured Decision Making ® system, including the principles and fundamental concepts of the SDM system as they transition into the concepts of child protection assessments. Trainers: Billy Claywell INFORMATION: **Please note we will limit the registration to 24 spots for this registration, so once that capacity is reached it will not allow any more registrants in. **The meeting will open up at 8:30, so please make sure you are logging in at this time. Training will start promptly at 9 AM and end at 12 PM. Please note: Priority seating is provided to staff working within one of the current DHS child welfare service contracts, including: Family Centered Services (FCS); Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) / Group Foster Care; Child Welfare Emergency Services (CWES): Aftercare Services; Supervised Apartment Living (SAL); Recruitment, Retention, Training and Support Services (RRTS); Parent Partners; Foster Care Youth Council. If you do not work within one of the current DHS child welfare service contracts, you may be bumped from the course and placed on a wait list.
